Durocem Italia Spa is presently the trusted reference point for private owners and international companies for everything that concerns flooring: the company started up by investing remarkable resources in researching new techniques and new products in Italy, importing some innovative solutions from abroad, amongst which the American Laser Screed technology, which enables the mechanical laying, by vibrating machines, of the concrete slab with laser-guided levelling. Back in the 70’s the company was already a forerunner for technological innovation, also in terms of the remarkable amount of experiments carried out, then later in the 90’s it designed, created and tested hardeners for ceramics and industrial sectors in general, which require flooring resistant to constant mechanical stress and chemical agents deriving from the production processes.
Durocem not only works with major contractors but also gets involved with small structures, realising very functional and smart made-to-measure solutions, studied together with the customer.
To be able to work close-up with its customers, Durocem has split its organisation into Divisions offering services that range from design to implementation, from assistance on-site to consultancy; the company not only supplies the products but also rents out machinery. It is one of the most imitated companies of the sector.
